Floating Dance
Floating Dance

Part of my series "Dance for the River". A photography series pairing dance with environmental awareness. My goal was to create a visual journey along the Yadkin River, photographing it through the bodies of UNCSA dancers as they engage with it. The project is intended to make us aware of the beauty of the river, but also the current polluted state of it. By putting a human scale to these issues, we are more aware how we play in that balance.
